LEARN / ENTRY · STOP · TP1–TP4

Read the whole trade—not only the direction.

A crypto signal is a predefined trade thesis, not simply the words LONG or SHORT. Before acting, a trader should understand where the idea becomes active, where it fails, how profit is distributed across targets and how much capital is actually at risk.

Direction and market

The symbol identifies the instrument, such as BTCUSDT perpetual futures. LONG means the thesis expects price to rise after the entry condition is met; SHORT means it expects price to fall. Direction alone is not enough. Confirm that the signal refers to the same contract and exchange market you intend to trade.

Entry and invalidation

The entry is the price or zone where the planned risk/reward was measured. Chasing a move far beyond that area changes both the distance to the stop and the expected return. The stop-loss marks the level where the original setup is considered wrong. It should not be moved farther away merely to avoid closing a losing position.

How TP1–TP4 work

Four targets divide the exit into stages. Crypto Pulse's historical model weights TP1, TP2, TP3 and TP4 as 20%, 30%, 30% and 20% of the modeled position. A real trader can use different management, but then the account result will differ from the published model. Record the chosen distribution before entering rather than changing it after seeing price move.

Leverage and position size

Leverage determines the margin required and magnifies the percentage movement of a position; it does not define acceptable account risk. Position size should be derived from the amount you can lose at the stop. A smaller position with a wider structural stop may risk less money than a highly leveraged position with a visually tight stop.

Frequently asked questions

Should I enter after TP1 has already been reached?

Usually the original risk/reward has changed. Recalculate from the current price instead of treating the old entry as available.

Does 10× leverage mean risking 10%?

No. Account risk depends on position size and stop distance, not leverage alone.

Why are there four targets?

Staged targets allow exposure to be reduced as the thesis develops while retaining part of the position for a larger move.

What is invalidation?

It is the market condition or structural level showing that the original trade thesis no longer holds.
